#translate #transfer #transform
3 values that guided Frankfurter Buchmesse 2022
Almost a week has passed since the global book fair Frankfurter Buchmesse, 18-22 October 2022. This year’s main values of the fair focused on three keywords: #translate #transfer #transform. Interpreted as “translate words”, “transfer ideas”, “transform minds”, refer to the role of what are the challenges nowadays, what is our impact on the present, and our responsibility to future generations. That is what the literature stands for, what are the aims of education and the role of writers and publishers.
Learnetic represented the digital side of the educational publishing industry, showing how to translate words into engaging content, transfer knowledge into digital and transform it into the needs and expectations of the connected generation.
The fair was also an excellent opportunity to raise social issues such as equality, accessibility and freedom. We Learnetic, want to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities, we want them to have equal access to education, training and development. That is why the materials we prepare are interactive, engaging and also meet the requirements of EAA (European Accessibility Act). During the Frankfurter Buchmesse our team presented the #1 authoring tool #mAuthor, which enables the creation of WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) compliant content as well as ready-made content and services for preparing such materials meeting the WCAG standards.
Frankfurter Buchmesse as a leading venue
With no doubts “words connect worlds”. Frankfurter Buchmesse is the world’s leading venue for printed and digital content. Here is where publishing experts meet up with partners from the technology and creative industries, to exchange ideas, get inspired, try out new technologies and cultivate contacts. We are happy to be a part of this amazing venture.
We thank our clients and new visitors for all the meetings and conversations we had during the time, for sharing your needs & ideas with us and for your will to improve the EdTech industry.
See you next year in Frankfurt!
